A rug with a sense of humor about its own edges. Scottie is hand-tufted in thick, plush wool, then finished with a scalloped border that ripples around the entire perimeter — a lower-pile striped frame giving the squish a little structure. The palette stays easygoing: warm neutrals and soft earth tones that let the texture do the talking. It is the Chris Loves Julia principle in action — take a classic, add one perfect detail. Compare all three colorways here, then wander the rest of our vintage and modern rug collection.

Styling
The scalloped edge shows best where floors stay visible around it — under a coffee table, beside a bed, or as the accent size at a sink or doorway. Tone-on-tone neutrals mean it layers happily under busier furniture, and the wool pile is the one your feet will find in the dark. The big 8'-6" x 11'-6" turns a whole living room soft. Build on it from living room furniture or keep browsing rugs.
Care
- Vacuum gently without a beater bar; mind the scalloped edge
- Blot spills immediately; spot clean with mild soap and cool water
- Expect light shedding at first — it settles with use
- Rotate periodically for even wear
- Professional cleaning for large stains
