What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Terrance.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The klismos chair has been seating civilizations since ancient Greece; the Terrance gives it a fresh reason to stay. Light amber ash frames a cream woven seat, updating the classic profile into a modern dining chair that looks equally right under a farmhouse slab or a marble-topped pedestal. Call it twenty-five centuries of good design, finally updated for spaghetti night.

Features & Construction

Dimensions: 20"W x 22"D x 32.5"H
Solid ash frame in a light amber finish
Seat upholstered in Thames Cream, a Four Hands-exclusive performance fabric (66% polyester, 19% acrylic, 15% flax/linen)
Heathered basketweave texture adds quiet depth to the cream tone
Performance weave engineered to resist spills, stains and high-traffic wear
Gently curved klismos back and rounded legs soften the silhouette
Designed by Four Hands

Styling Tips

Run a full set down each side of one of our dining tables for a light, Scandinavian-leaning scheme, or mix with darker host chairs at the ends. Round out the space with sideboards and more from our dining room furniture collection. Because the seat is built to handle real life, this is the rare cream dining chair you can offer to a guest holding red wine—and mean it.

Delivery & Care

The performance seat cleans easily—blot spills and spot-clean with mild soap and water as needed. Free front-door delivery on orders $1,500+ within 20 miles of Portland, or white-glove delivery available. See it in our Portland showroom.
