Trey Modular Wide Bookcase

Clean midcentury lines meet a bit of texture: solid poplar and raw iron frame the Trey's open and closed storage, then leather pulls, secured with exposed metal hardware, add a tactile surprise against all that flat wood. It is a bookcase built as much for display as for storage, with real presence at nearly seven feet tall.

At 35 inches wide and 17 inches deep, a single Trey works as a narrow statement piece, and because it is modular, two side by side widen the storage without doubling the visual weight of one oversized case.

Styling Tips

Because it is modular, the Trey scales with the room: start with one next to a media console for a coordinated wall, or run two together when a single case will not cover enough linear footage. Leave the leather pulls visible rather than filling every shelf, since the hardware is the detail that keeps the piece from reading as a plain wood box.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
