What neighbors say about finding the next one

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for this piece.

Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Sizes, materials and care

Here's the kind of piece that anchors a whole room without shouting about it. This West Elm coffee table pairs a cool White Marble with Black base for that clean, gallery-modern contrast collectors love. The natural veining means no two tops look alike, yours has its own map of grays and soft grooves running across the surface, the sort of detail you only notice once you live with it.

The marble slab sits atop a slim black metal frame, giving it a low, grounded profile at 44 inches wide, 24 deep, and 17 tall, generous enough for coffee, books, and a candle or two without eating up the floor. It's in excellent condition: the stone is smooth and clean, the black frame crisp with no wobble or scuffs worth mentioning. Solid, honest, ready for its next living room.

Float it in front of a low-slung sofa in leather or boucle, layer a woven rug underneath, and let the marble do the talking. It leans contemporary but plays beautifully with mid-century seating and warm walnut accents. If you've been scouting vintage coffee tables Portland has to offer, this is a genuine find.
