What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Wimshaw.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Wimshaw Accent Table fixes the eternal sofa problem: the surface is never where your hands are. Its C-shaped base slides straight over a cushion or under a seat, parking a stable wood-tone tabletop exactly above your lap — snacks, laptop, the remote that always wanders. Clean lines keep it contemporary, and among side tables it's the one that actually moves to where the evening is happening.

Details

Shape: C-shaped profile slides over sofa cushions and under seat edges
Surface: Stable tabletop sized for a plate, a drink, or a laptop
Finish: Warm brown wood tone with a clean, contemporary line

Best for: Movie nights, casual lounging, work-from-sofa sessions
Maker: By Ashley Furniture
Dimensions: 12" x 18" x 24"

Styling Tips

Keep one at the end of the sofa and it disappears into the room until it's needed — then it slides in like a tray that never has to be carried. The warm brown tone plays well with both leather and light fabric upholstery, and it pairs naturally with a larger coffee table rather than replacing one: the coffee table holds the room together, the Wimshaw chases comfort. Add a soft throw and good lamp light nearby and the living room corner becomes the seat everyone fights for.
