Sizes, materials and care

The flowers here are woven, not printed — rows of stylized blooms rise out of the cloth in tonal pink and red jacquard, so the pattern shifts as the light moves across it. It has the easy, slightly faded charm of a vintage tapestry throw, with a knotted fringe swinging off both ends. And because the yarns are recycled cotton blend, it is an easy piece to feel good about. Browse the rest of our pillows and throws.

Styling

Warm pink against cream or oatmeal upholstery is the move — the throw brings the color, the sofa stays calm. It also plays surprisingly well with terracotta and rust if your palette runs warmer, and the floral rows give a bedroom footboard some pattern without committing to floral bedding.   • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, in a wash bag to protect the fringe
  • Line dry or tumble low
  • Do not bleach — recycled yarns hold dye differently across the weave
  • Straighten fringe knots by hand while damp
  • Slight tonal variation between throws is inherent to recycled cotton and part of the look
