Shop long-lasting furniture in Portland: custom sofas, solid-wood pieces, and original local art, plus one-of-a-kind consigned furniture given a second life. The idea is simple: choose pieces made for everyday use, or give a well-made piece another home through consignment.
What Makes Furniture Last?
Three things matter: materials (solid wood and quality frames that get repaired, not replaced), fit (a piece sized and styled for your room, so you keep it), and reuse (keeping well-built pieces in circulation).
Custom Sofas Made to Order
Stanton sofas and sectionals are custom-ordered in your fabric. See the full Stanton sofa collection for every frame.
Small-Batch Wood and Local Art
Small-batch solid-wood pieces and original art by local artists, each with its own character. Browse more new furniture.
Why Consider Used Furniture
Reuse is the simplest way to get a well-built piece. Consigned pieces come and go fast, and our team approves each one. Browse used furniture and vintage pieces, including solid-wood casegoods and lightly used upholstery.
Buy It Once, Buy It Right
The costliest purchase is the one you replace in three years. Check the build before you commit: frame, joinery, drawer glides, and fabric. Locally owned since 2010.
Decorate With Staying Power
The same logic applies past the big pieces: original art by local artists, consigned vintage mirrors and lamps, and decor chosen once instead of re-bought every trend cycle. Start with local artwork & prints and the newest consignments.
Furniture That Lasts FAQ
How do I choose furniture that lasts?
Look at the frame, the joinery, and the hardware. Solid wood and well-made frames hold up to daily use, and a fabric suited to your household helps too.
Is long-lasting furniture more expensive?
Not always. Consigned solid-wood pieces can cost less than new ones. A custom piece costs more upfront, but it is made to your size and fabric, so you are more likely to keep it.
Can I consign my own furniture?
Yes. Our team approves and prices consigned pieces. Start on our consignment page.
