What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Ace.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

Every home needs one chair whose only job is comfort. The Ace chair sinks you into deep, low seating cradled by a hand-shaped solid parawood frame — the perfect place to curl up with a good book and lose an afternoon. Among our accent chairs, it is the one guests refuse to get up from. It is the chair that turns a spare corner into the most contested seat in the house, weekend after weekend.

Styling Tips

Park the Ace by a window with a floor lamp and a footrest from our ottomans collection to finish the reading-nook brief. Its low profile also slots neatly beside taller sofas — browse our living room furniture for the rest of the arrangement. A small side table within arm's reach — coffee, spectacles, the current paperback — completes the ritual.

Delivery & Care

Blot spills quickly and spot-clean with mild soap on fabric versions; leather and shearling prefer a dry cloth and a home out of direct sun. Free front-door delivery on orders $1,500+ within 20 miles of Portland, or white-glove delivery available. See it in our Portland showroom.
