What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Adel.

  1. This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.
Roxana Sekar · Google review · Mar 2026

    For this piece

Covered by the maker’s warranty. Ask us for the terms; if anything goes wrong, we file the claim for you. Made-to-order pieces and floor models are final sale, so ask us anything before you buy.

  2. We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.
Rachel Winningstad · Google review · Dec 2025

    For this piece

Ask us which fabrics this frame comes in, and we’ll help you choose.

  3. We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional.
Tracy Winn · Google review · Jun 2026

    For this piece

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. We can haul away your old piece for a fee when we deliver.

Sizes, materials and care

The Adel Apartment Sofa by Stylus is a 70-inch sofa for rooms that need real seating in a smaller footprint. Adel has a mid-century shape with clean arms, tapered legs, and plush cushions, making it a better fit for apartments, offices, and smaller living rooms than an oversized sofa.

Details

  • Dimensions: 70" W x 35" D x 37" H
  • Shown fabric: Aston Cedar-Green
  • Maker: Stylus, handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest
  • Use: Apartments, offices, smaller living rooms, and guest spaces

Styling Tips

Use Adel when a room needs a tailored sofa that does not overwhelm the floor plan. Aston Cedar-Green gives the sofa a warm olive note; Toscana Forest and Marley Navy can take the same compact shape darker or cooler. Pair it with a narrow coffee table, wall-mounted lighting, or a small side table to keep circulation clear.

Care

  • Cleaning: Vacuum upholstery weekly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly
  • Protection: Keep sharp objects, harsh cleaners, and extended direct sunlight away from fabric
  • Fit check: Confirm room dimensions, stair turns, and delivery path before ordering

A few more to fall for.
