Arched Brass Floor Lamp with Scalloped Woven Shade 66"

An antique brass-finish iron pole rises up and arches over at the top of this floor lamp, ending in a scalloped, bell-shaped shade woven from natural fiber. The arch is the whole point: it lets the lamp reach out and over a chair the way a swing-arm lamp would, without a cord or joint in the way, and the round weighted base keeps the tall, slim pole steady. At 66 inches it is meant to stand beside seating rather than in an open corner. It is one of the more sculptural pieces in our lighting collection, closer to a piece of decor that happens to light up than a plain reading lamp.

Styling

The arch is built to hang light directly over a chair or the corner of a sofa, so this is the lamp for a reading nook: set the base behind or beside an accent chair and let the shade swing over the armrest where a book would sit. Because the pole is slim, it does not crowd a small room the way a wide-based floor lamp can.

The woven shade brings texture rather than pattern, so it sits comfortably with linen, leather and other natural materials already common in a living room. Pair the brass finish with warm wood tones and it reads as one considered arrangement rather than mismatched metals.

We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
