Aurora Swivel Chair

Aurora is a drum, plain and simple: a round, deeply upholstered seat set on a 360-degree swivel base with turned parawood legs underneath. What changes the personality entirely is the cover, and Aurora comes in eleven of them, from a cream boucle to shearling to a butterscotch top-grain leather, so the same accent chair can read casual or dressed up depending on the room.

At 26 inches wide and 31 inches tall, it sits low and wide rather than tall and narrow, which makes it a comfortable reading or conversation chair rather than a formal one. The swivel base means it can face a room instead of being locked into one direction.

Styling Tips

Because the shape is so simple, Aurora reads mostly through its cover. Set a pair on either side of a side table as a conversation setup, or use a single chair as the anchor of a reading corner where the swivel base lets it turn toward the window or the room.

The lighter fabrics and Knoll Natural keep a small room feeling open, while the shearling and leather colorways add enough weight to work as a standalone statement chair. Either way, a solid-color chair like this is a good place to introduce a patterned pillow or a textured rug.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
