What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Indy.

  1. This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.
Roxana Sekar · Google review · Mar 2026

    For this piece

Covered by the maker’s warranty. Ask us for the terms; if anything goes wrong, we file the claim for you. Made-to-order pieces and floor models are final sale, so ask us anything before you buy.

  2. We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.
Rachel Winningstad · Google review · Dec 2025

Ask us which fabrics this frame comes in, and we’ll help you choose.

  3. We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional.
Tracy Winn · Google review · Jun 2026

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. We can haul away your old piece for a fee when we deliver.

Styling Tips
The Indy’s relaxed proportions make it easy to style across aesthetics. Light neutrals create an airy, West Coast feel — pair with oak or walnut tables and layered textiles. Richer tones like olive, rust, or charcoal add depth and work well with leather accents and warm metals. Keep the look grounded with a textured rug and a mix of soft and structured pillows.

Care
Vacuum upholstery weekly with a brush attachment to prevent dust buildup
Rotate and fluff cushions regularly to maintain shape and comfort
Spot-clean spills immediately with a clean white cloth and water — blot, don’t rub
For deeper cleaning, follow manufacturer fabric care recommendations
Add fabric protection at checkout for extended stain resistance

A few more to fall for.
