About the Mullit Boucle Accent Chair

Our notes on this piece, including its condition.

The cream boucle on this Mullit chair is the whole point: a soft, nubby cloud of texture that catches light and makes a small chair feel like a find. The lines stay quiet and compact, so the fabric does the talking: warm, tactile, and a little unexpected in a room of smooth woods and hard edges.

Upholstered in cream boucle over a modest frame, it measures about 20 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 31 inches high: more accent seat than sprawling lounge, easy to tuck beside a desk or at the end of a console. Condition is good: the boucle still reads plush and even, with the honest, lived-in ease you want from consignment rather than showroom-perfect stiffness.

Style it in a bedroom corner with a walnut nightstand and a brass lamp, or pull it up to a small writing table. If you are hunting chairs Portland, this is the kind of piece that disappears into a cart before you finish the second lap.
