Sizes, materials and care

The Crosby Ottoman from Stanton is a square, low-slung ottoman that works as a footrest, extra seat or a soft surface for a tray. It is shown in Mio Herb, a dark green and cream stripe that adds pattern without fighting the rest of the room. Browse more ottomans or the full Stanton collection.

Styling Tips

At 42 inches square, the Crosby is large enough to stand in for a coffee table in front of a sofa: set a tray on top for drinks and books, and it still works as a footrest when the tray comes off. It also fits as a landing spot at the foot of a bed or between two chairs. The green stripe pairs well with warm wood, cream or oatmeal upholstery and a vintage-style rug in rust or blue. Keep a throw on top for texture, and use it beside a living room sofa that is solid in color so the pattern stays the accent.

Care

Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment.
Blot spills right away with a clean white cloth; do not rub.
Check the fabric care label before using any cleaner.
Turn the ottoman now and then so wear stays even, and keep it out of direct sun.
