Sizes, materials and care

Scale changes everything in lighting, and at nearly three feet tall the large Horn pendant stops being an accent and becomes architecture. Handwoven natural rattan flares from a reclaimed teak top in a long trumpet silhouette, crafted with traditional Javanese technique that leaves each piece subtly one of a kind. Find companion fixtures in our lighting collection. The elongated shape draws the eye upward, which makes standard ceilings feel taller than they are.

Styling Tips

Use the large Horn where ceilings give it room to perform — over a stairwell landing, in a double-height entry, or as the anchor of a staggered cluster with the small Horn and Banjo pendants above a dining table. The open weave throws patterned light across walls and ceilings, so give it a corner worth illuminating. Natural rattan pairs beautifully with the warm woods throughout our dining room furniture and with anything linen, leather, or leafy. If you're lighting a kitchen island, hang two large Horns rather than three small fixtures — the longer silhouettes read calmer and cast fewer competing shadows across the counter.

Care:
Dust with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush, following the weave. Keep liquid cleaners away from the rattan. Turn off power before cleaning. Follow the wattage rating on the fixture.
