What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Emelise.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Emelise Bookcase turns shelving into a feature. Slim shelves step in and out, joined by curved dividers that make a loose, rhythmic pattern instead of a plain grid. It works as a handsome bookcase and as an airy divider that keeps a room open.

Features & Construction

Dimensions: 63" W x 13" D x 60.5" H
Mindi wood and veneer
Four open shelf tiers with offset, staggered openings
Curved vertical dividers between shelves
Open design with slim shelf edges
Rich brown finish with visible grain
Approximately 112.5 lbs

Styling Tips

Mix the openings: books in a few, a vase or ceramic in another, and leave several empty so the pattern shows. Lighter objects look best on the upper tiers, while heavier books belong at the bottom. A few small lamps or framed photos add soft light on a dark wall. The wide, shallow shape suits a wall behind a sofa or a spot beside a desk, and a piece of art leaned against a lower back edge adds color. For a full room look, pair it with a coffee table or other storage furniture in a similar brown tone.
