Color, but the useful kind. The Finnworth bookcase stacks warm brown oak-veneer shelves on deep blue turned-spindle columns, with a drawer at the base and classic wood pulls, so it brings something to an entryway or a home office that another brown box would not. Five shelves handle the display, and a drawer at the base takes the clutter you would rather not see. It is the one piece of real color in our bookcase collection.

Styling Tips
The blue columns read as built-in against a warm white wall, and the brown shelves keep it from tipping into nautical. Use the drawer for keys, mail and dog leads if the piece lands in an entryway, or for cables and chargers if it lands in an office. It works alongside the pieces in our entryway furniture collection.
Style the shelves in a mix of horizontal and vertical stacks with a few ceramic pieces for relief, and keep the eye-level shelf the lightest. Our home decor selection is a good place to find the objects that make shelving look considered rather than filled.
Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe spills right away with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Skip ammonia, bleach and silicone-based polishes, which dull a glazed wood finish over time.
- Use coasters and felt pads under lamps and decor to protect the surface from rings and scratches.
- Keep out of prolonged direct sun and away from heat vents so the finish does not fade or check.
