Styling Tips

A chair with this much depth earns a companion — set an ottoman in front and it becomes the household's unofficial daybed. Float it at a slight angle to the sofa rather than square-on; the sculpted back is meant to be seen. A slim side table and an arcing floor lamp from our lighting collection complete the reading-corner brief without crowding it. In pairs, the Generation club chairs make a proper conversation corner — angle them toward each other with a shared table and the arrangement invites long talks. Solo, it handles bedroom-corner duty with ease, deep enough for reading and handsome enough to hold the room when nobody is sitting in it.

Care:
Vacuum the upholstery weekly and plump the loose cushions to keep their shape. Blot spills right away rather than rubbing. Wipe the rubberwood legs with a soft, dry cloth and rotate the chair's position occasionally to even sun exposure.
