What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Gia.

  1. I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.
Ramona Perrault · Google review · Sep 2026

    For this piece

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

  2. They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.
    Ally H · Google review · Oct 2026

    For this piece

If an in-stock piece arrives boxed, you have 7 days to bring it back unused in its box for store credit. Pieces we order in for you, custom orders and floor models are final sale. Our “If It Fits, It Sits” program lets you take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days before you commit to buying. Ask us in the showroom and we’ll set it up.

  3. Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Placement Tips

Use a Gia solid acacia dining bench where the visible scale, finish, and function fit the room plan. For seating, confirm seat height, cushion feel, fabric hand, leg finish, and whether the photographed colorway matches the item available to order. For storage pieces, confirm interior shelf layout, door swing, drawer action, finished-back expectations, anti-tip requirements, and wall clearance. Measure doorways, stair turns, elevator access, hallway width, room footprint, and final placement before pickup or delivery.

Care

  • Cleaning: Use the care method confirmed by the showroom for the actual wood, veneer, marble, upholstery, fabric, metal, finish, or hardware
  • Protection: Keep away from excess moisture, harsh cleaners, sharp objects, heat, and extended direct sunlight unless showroom care guidance says otherwise
  • Fit check: Confirm footprint, clearance, doorway width, stair turns, elevator access, shelf clearance, drawer or door swing, and delivery path before ordering
