What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Heidi.

This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.

We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.

We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional.

Sizes, materials and care

The Heidi Swivel Glide Chair by Stylus pairs a clean track-arm silhouette with a smooth swivel and a gentle glide, so you can turn toward the conversation or settle in with a book. A loose back cushion and a deep seat make it an easy reading chair, and at 29 inches wide it fits corners that a full lounge chair would crowd. Stylus builds each Heidi to order in the Pacific Northwest.

Details

Dimensions: 29" W x 37" D x 40" H (Stylus specification; hand-built pieces vary slightly)
Function: Swivels a full circle and glides on a low black metal base
Arms: Straight track arms with crisp, square edges
Back: Loose back cushion
In-stock colors: Paso Spice, a deep brown woven with fine copper threads, and Nexus Arbor, a dark green-charcoal textured weave
Maker: Stylus, made to order in the Pacific Northwest

Styling Tips

Paso Spice brings warmth beside cream walls, rust and walnut, and its flecked weave forgives everyday use in a family room. Nexus Arbor reads nearly black across the room and shows its green in daylight, which suits oak floors, terracotta accents and leafy plants. Set Heidi beside a small round side table and a floor lamp for a reading corner, or place two across from a sofa so guests can swivel into the conversation. Browse more accent chairs and living room furniture to finish the room.

Care

Fabric: Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment and blot spills right away with a clean white cloth
Cushion: Fluff and turn the back cushion regularly so it keeps its shape
Base: Wipe the metal base with a dry cloth and keep the swivel clear of loose cords

Heidi is in stock in Portland in both colors. Ask our showroom team about other Stylus fabrics, delivery and timing.
