The small Hickory basket fits the spots the bigger two cannot: beside a lounge chair, inside an entry closet, next to a bathroom vanity. It is handwoven from banana leaf in two natural tones, light straw coils above a rolled coil band and deeper brown coils below, with two upright loop handles at the rim. Styling
Put it next to a lounge chair in the living room for remotes and a paperback, or use it as a cover for a small potted plant such as a snake plant or pothos, with a saucer under the pot. By a fireplace it holds kindling and fire starters. More in home accents.
Line it up with the medium and large Hickory for a stepped group, or let it stand alone on a narrow wall where a bigger basket would crowd the walkway. Because the fiber is natural, tone and coil thickness vary a little from basket to basket, so no two look exactly alike.
Care
- Dust with a dry, lint-free cloth or a vacuum brush attachment
- Indoor use only. Keep away from standing water and sprinklers
- Keep out of strong direct sun to slow fading
- Do not store wet towels or damp items in it
- If a coil loosens, ease it back into place rather than pulling
