Column-style legs finished in a warm honey rubberwood veneer give the Jakobi its midcentury cue, with bullnose reeding running down each one. The rest of the chaise is upholstered in a cream, high-performance fabric exclusive to Four Hands, fixed cushioning below and a loose headrest above, built to actually be lived on rather than admired from across the room.
At just under 73 inches long, it reads as a real lounging piece, long enough to stretch out on rather than perch on the end. Use it as a second seat in a living room, or alone in a reading nook where a sofa would not fit.

Styling Tips
A chaise this long needs a clear runway, so give it its own wall rather than wedging it into a seating group. Pair it with an accent chair and a simple side table rather than a full sofa if the room is on the smaller side.
Because the fabric is neutral and the legs are warm-toned wood, the Jakobi slides into a room built around either wood tones or black metal accents equally well. Keep a throw and one pillow on it and resist the urge to over-style what is already a comfortable piece.
Care
Dust the wood legs with a soft, damp cloth followed by a dry one. The performance upholstery is built to resist everyday spills and stains, but blot anything wet right away rather than letting it sit, and follow the cleaning code on the tag for anything beyond a light spot-clean. Keep the fabric out of extended direct sun to preserve the color. Indoor use only. Free front-door delivery in the Portland area on orders $1,500+, or white-glove delivery available.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
