What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Jema.

  1. This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.

  2. We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.

Sizes, materials and care

Some sofas chase trends; the Jema Sofa by Stylus just gets the fundamentals right. Clean track arms, deep cushioned seats, and solid wood block feet give it a tailored mid-century frame that disappears into almost any room — and because it is handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest, it arrives built, not boxed. Find it among our sofas.

Details

  • Dimensions: 84" W x 38" D x 33" H — full three-seat scale
  • Seating: Deep seats with generous cushioning for everyday lounging
  • Arms: Clean-lined track arms that keep the silhouette tailored
  • Base: Solid wood block feet
  • Upholstery: Shown in the Serenity Desert-Palm fabric — a warm, textured neutral
  • Craft: Handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest by Stylus

Styling Tips

The Jema's warm neutral plays well with nearly everything: ground it with a pattern from our rugs, set a walnut piece from our coffee tables in front, and stack contrast into the corners with our pillows and throws. Its tailored track arms keep sightlines low, so it suits open-plan rooms where the sofa is seen from every side — browse the rest of our living room furniture to build around it. Ask the showroom about current availability and Stylus ordering options.

Care
  • Vacuuming: Vacuum upholstery regularly with a soft brush attachment
  • Spills: Blot immediately with a clean, dry white cloth — avoid rubbing
  • Cushions: Rotate and fluff cushions periodically for even wear
  • Sunlight: Keep out of prolonged direct sun to protect the fabric's color
  • Questions: Call the showroom to check current availability before visiting
