Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Ask Joey what’s come inTall, honest, and quietly handsome. This light oak bookcase carries that easy mid-century warmth that makes a room feel collected rather than decorated. The pale oak grain keeps things bright and airy, while the slim vertical profile gives it real presence without crowding a space. It's the kind of understated find that plays well with both bold color and calm neutrals.
Built on a solid wood frame, it stands a generous 80 inches tall on a compact 31.5-inch-wide footprint, with an 11.5-inch depth that tucks neatly against a wall. The open shelving is ready for books, records, ceramics, or your growing plant collection. Condition is good with typical wear from years of everyday use, a few marks that read as character, not damage. This is genuine vintage bookcases & shelving Portland shoppers hunt for.
Style it in a reading nook with a leather lounge chair and a warm floor lamp, or let it anchor a home office beside a walnut desk. The light oak tone pairs beautifully with mustard, teal, and rust accents, so lean into color on the shelves and let this piece do the grounding.
