Sizes, materials and care

Lit, it glows like a paper lantern; off, it reads as sculpture. A wide, softly pleated fabric shade blooms over a tapered cone base finished in warm walnut tone, and the proportions — broad shade, narrow foot — give it that Scandinavian-by-way-of-Japan calm that flatters every nightstand it lands on. The pleats catch and scatter lamplight so the whole shade illuminates evenly, no hot spots. One of the easiest pieces in our lighting collection to love.
