Navy velvet is the rare bold choice that behaves like a neutral, and the Missy club chair wears it across a generous mid-century silhouette built for actually sitting — a 22-inch-deep seat, broad 33-inch frame, and cushioning that invites the second cup of coffee. It brings saturated color into a room without asking the rest of the palette to change. Size it up against our accent chair collection. At this scale it reads closer to a personal armchair-and-a-half than a standard accent piece.

Styling Tips

Treat navy as the room's anchor color — the Missy pairs handsomely with camel leather, warm walnut, and brass, and it turns a gray sofa arrangement from safe to considered. Float a pair facing the sofa in the living room, or give one its own corner with a marble-topped side table and a reading lamp. Velvet loves light, so place it where afternoon sun or lamplight can catch the pile and shift the blue through the day. A cream or camel throw over one arm gives the navy something to glow against year-round.

Care:
Vacuum the velvet gently with an upholstery attachment, following the pile. Blot spills immediately — never rub velvet. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and rotate cushions to even out wear.
