What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Rain.

This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.

We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.

We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional.

Sizes, materials and care

The Rain Swivel Chair is a compact Stylus swivel with a 33" W x 36" D x 31" H frame on a concealed 360-degree base. It is the Mist frame on a swivel, so it keeps the same relaxed proportions while letting the chair turn toward the room or the window. On our floor in Nexus Toffee, Marley French Blue, and Cisco Shitake.

Features & Construction

Dimensions: 33" W x 36" D x 31" H
Base: Concealed 360-degree swivel base
Live fabrics: Nexus Toffee, Marley French Blue, and Cisco Shitake
Frame: The Rain is the Mist frame built on a swivel base
Maker: Stylus, made to order for the Pacific Northwest
Custom options: Orderable in any Stylus fabric grade, with optional Feathersoft seat and back

Styling Tips

Rain works in pairs flanking a fireplace or facing a sofa, where the swivel lets one chair serve two conversation zones. Nexus Toffee is the warm neutral, Marley French Blue brings colour without shouting, and Cisco Shitake sits between the two as a soft mid-tone. At 33 inches wide it does not crowd a room the way a full club chair can. Pair it with the sofas and sectionals on our floor, or see the rest of our Stylus upholstery.

Care

Cleaning: Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth
Protection: Keep sharp objects, harsh cleaners, and extended direct sunlight off the fabric
Cushions: Rotate and fluff loose cushions regularly so the fill stays even
Fit check: Confirm doorways, stair turns, and the delivery path before purchase
