What neighbors say about ordering custom here

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Ricci.

  1. This is the second time I’ve gotten a semi-custom couch from What’s New and both times I had a great experience. The furniture is high quality and really lasts.
Roxana Sekar · Google review · Mar 2026

    For this piece

Covered by the maker’s warranty. Ask us for the terms; if anything goes wrong, we file the claim for you. Made-to-order pieces and floor models are final sale, so ask us anything before you buy.

  2. We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month 🙃), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES.

  3. We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. We can haul away your old piece for a fee when we deliver.

Sizes, materials and care

The Ricci Sofa is an 87" W x 41" D x 34" H Stylus sofa with low track arms, deep seat cushions, loose back cushions, bolster pillows, and block feet. The low arm keeps the sightline open, and the 41-inch depth gives it a genuine lounge seat without pushing into sectional territory.

Features & Construction

  • Dimensions: 87" W x 41" D x 34" H
  • Design: Low track arms, deep seat cushions, loose backs, and block feet
  • Cushions: Includes two 24x12 bolster pillows
  • Live fabrics: Nexus Arbor, Levi Cafe, Rhine Terracotta, Serenity Desert Palm, and Serenity Cinnamon
  • Maker: Stylus, made to order for the Pacific Northwest
  • Custom options: Orderable in any Stylus fabric grade, with optional Feathersoft seats and backs

Styling Tips

Ricci suits a room that needs a generous sofa with a relaxed but still tailored shape. Rhine Terracotta warms up wood floors and neutral rugs, Nexus Arbor pushes the frame in an earthy green direction, and Serenity Desert Palm reads softer and more neutral. The 87-inch width fits most living rooms, but the 41-inch depth needs real clearance, so measure the walkway first. The same frame is built as a sectional if you need to turn a corner — compare it against our sectionals and the rest of our sofas, or browse all Stylus upholstery.

Care

  • Cleaning: Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth
  • Protection: Keep sharp objects, harsh cleaners, and extended direct sunlight off the fabric
  • Cushions: Rotate and fluff loose cushions regularly so the fill stays even
  • Fit check: Confirm doorways, stair turns, and the delivery path before purchase
