Styling Tips

Place it across from the sofa when you want a footrest that can also give guests a place to gather. A tray can define a spot for books or a small object, but remove it whenever the ottoman is being used for seating. Keep the curved ends visible rather than tucking the piece tightly between larger furniture.

In a bedroom, compare the ottoman height with the bed and leave enough walking space around it. In the living room, pair its rounded outline with a more angular side table so both shapes have a reason to be there. Let a textured rug do the pattern work if you want the upholstery to stay the quieter part of the arrangement.
