Taborh Gold Floor Lamp

A slim brass stem that rises and then curves over, carrying a white drum shade out past the base so the light lands where you are sitting rather than behind you. Sixty-three inches, on a weighted round foot. The whole lamp is about three-quarters of an inch of metal and a shade, which is why it disappears in a small room. More in living room.

Styling

An arc lamp exists to put light over a seat without a table under it, which makes it the answer for a reading chair in a corner or the end of a sofa where a side table will not fit. Position the shade over the front third of the seat, not the middle.

Brass and white is warm and unfussy and sits with almost any upholstery. In a room that already has a lot of vertical furniture, the thin stem keeps the corner visually open. More in home decor.

Care

• Dust the shade with a soft brush or a lint roller
• Wipe the brass with a dry, soft cloth only
• Do not use metal polish or abrasives on the finish
• Switch off and let the bulb cool before changing it
• Keep the weighted base clear so the arc stays balanced

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
