What neighbors say about finding the next one

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for this piece.

Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Sizes, materials and care

There's something instantly calming about a teal blue sofa done right, and this Article piece hits that sweet spot between bold and livable. The color is that deep, oceanic teal blue that photographs like a jewel and grounds a room without shouting, a shade you rarely find on a well-built modern sofa. Article has earned a loyal following for clean-lined, contemporary silhouettes, and this one carries those low, easy proportions beautifully.

At 87 inches wide with a 37-inch depth and a 31-inch back height, it's roomy enough to stretch out on yet trim enough for a mid-size living room or apartment. The frame is solid wood beneath the upholstery, with the tailored cushions and gently squared arms Article is known for. We've rated this one Fair. It shows honest, typical wear from daily use, the kind of gentle patina that says it's been genuinely loved rather than abused. Priced accordingly, and a smart way to land a designer sofa without the designer sticker.

Style it with warm walnut side tables, a nubby cream throw, and a leafy plant or two to let that teal blue breathe. It's a natural anchor for a mid-century or contemporary space. If you've been hunting vintage sofas Portland has to offer with real color and character, this is your find.
