A used sofa can last for years if the basics are sound. Here is what to look at:
✔ The frame: lift one corner; it should not creak or twist
✔ The cushions: they should spring back, with no deep sagging
✔ The fabric: look for stains, pet damage, and fading
✔ Your measurements: measure the sofa, the doorways, and any stairs it must pass through
Mix consigned finds with new furniture for a curated look. Our accent chairs, coffee tables, and TV stands complement any sofa style. Need coordinating bedroom furniture? Browse our dressers and beds & headboards.
How often do new consigned sofas come in?
Consignment pieces come and go fast, and there is more on the floor than online. Watch our new consignment arrivals, and if you see something you love, don't wait.
Can I consign my old sofa?
Yes. Our team approves and prices consigned pieces. Learn about our consignment process.
How do I care for a used sofa?
Vacuum cushions and seams regularly, rotate or flip cushions if they are reversible, and use a cleaner that suits the fabric. Test any cleaner on a hidden spot first.
What size sofa do I need?
Tape the sofa's footprint on the floor and leave a comfortable walkway around it. Measure the doorways and stairs the sofa must pass through, and check that the arms and back will clear them.
