Sizes, materials and care

Stripes that go against the grain — literally. Weatherstaff weaves its jute ribs horizontally, then runs cinnamon stripes vertically across them, a quiet trick of Leanne Ford's that makes a natural-fiber rug read graphic instead of granola. The palette is pure earth: toasted cinnamon over honey-tan jute, warm in every light. It is texture a room can build on. Walk the rest of our vintage and modern rug collection.

Styling

This is the layering rug: run it under a desk, a bench, or a bed and let the stripe do quiet work, or layer a smaller patterned rug on top of it for depth. Cinnamon plays perfectly with cream boucle, black metal, and unfinished woods. Keep it out of bathrooms and covered porches — jute likes to stay dry. Set the scene with living room furniture or compare naturals in rugs.
