The plaid is drawn large — blocks of rust, olive, oat and dusty rose that read from across a room rather than dissolving into a texture — and the surface has been brushed after weaving, which raises a light nap and softens every edge in the pattern. That brushing is why it feels like a blanket you have owned for years on the first day. The fringe is long and knotted rather than cropped, so it hangs and moves. Sixty by fifty is the size that covers a person on a sofa without dragging. Browse more pillows and throw blankets.

Styling
The scale of the check is the reason to buy it, so give it room. Folded small on a narrow chair arm it turns into a muddy stripe; thrown loose across a sofa corner with the fringe hanging you get the whole plaid, which is what makes the room look warmer.
The oat ground keeps it neutral enough to live with a patterned rug, and the rust means it sits naturally with leather, walnut and brass. If the sofa is already a warm neutral, this is the piece that adds colour without adding a whole new palette. It is also the most forgiving throw here for a house with a dog on the furniture, since the nap hides fur far better than a flat cotton weave. More in home decor, living room furniture and decor.
Care
- Hand wash cold and dry flat to protect the brushed nap
- Do not tumble dry — heat will flatten the nap permanently
- Do not bleach and do not wring
- Lift pills off with a fabric shaver rather than pulling them
- Shake it out and finger-comb the fringe rather than brushing it
- Store folded and loose so the nap keeps its loft

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
