    About Vintage Furniture - Portland

Explore our vintage furniture collection, featuring one-of-a-kind pieces full of charm and history. From timeless classics to unique statement designs, each item is carefully selected to bring warmth and character to your Portland home. Whether you’re furnishing a cozy space or creating a bold aesthetic, find the perfect piece to tell your story.

    One-of-a-Kind Vintage Furniture in Portland

Every vintage piece at What’s New Furniture comes through our consignment program and is approved and priced by our team. Because each item is a one-off, this collection changes constantly. Finds can include Danish teak dressers, rosewood and mahogany sideboards, and walnut lounge chairs from storied makers like Stow Davis. If something catches your eye, don’t wait: one-of-a-kind means exactly that.

    Mid-Century Modern Classics

Portland loves mid-century, and so do we. Walnut bookcases, low-slung coffee tables, and sculptural accent chairs: the clean lines and warm woods of the 1950s–70s are a mainstay of our vintage offering. Want the broader look beyond true vintage? Browse our full mid-century modern furniture collection, which pairs authentic period pieces with newer MCM-style designs.

    Antique & Heirloom Pieces

Alongside mid-century finds, we consign older antique and heirloom furniture in Portland, Oregon, such as carved chests, clawfoot desks, gold-leaf mirrors, and solid-wood casegoods built generations ago. These pieces carry the patina and craftsmanship you can’t buy new.

    How to Inspect Vintage Furniture

Vintage pieces reward a close look. Open the drawers and check that they glide, look at the joinery, test legs and frames for wobble, and make sure a chair feels sturdy. Vintage pieces are often real wood and built to last.

    Finding Your Vintage Piece

Consigned pieces come and go fast. See what just came in on our newest consignments page, or browse the wider selection of used furniture and consigned furniture. Everything in this collection is available to buy.

    Vintage Furniture FAQ

Do you buy or consign vintage furniture?

We consign it. When your piece sells, you earn a share of the sale, and we handle pricing, display, and selling in our showroom. Start on our furniture consignment page.

How often do new vintage pieces arrive?

Pieces come and go fast, and there is more on the floor than online. Because vintage pieces are one-offs, the best finds can sell fast, so if you see something you love, grab it soon.

What styles do you usually carry?

Mid-century modern is a big part of the mix, with teak, walnut, and rosewood casegoods, alongside antique, retro, and traditional heirloom pieces. The mix depends entirely on what Portland consigns to us, which is what keeps it interesting.
