Locally Made Furniture
Shop locally made furniture in Portland — pieces handcrafted by Pacific Northwest makers like Dogwoodwork and Mann Made Wood Creations, sold alongside one-of-a-kind local work that comes through our consignment floor.
This collection gathers the genuinely local work in our store: solid-wood tables, cutting boards, shelves, and accent pieces from small Oregon and Washington workshops. Each maker works in small batches, so what you see here changes as new pieces come off their benches — and when something sells, there may not be another exactly like it.
The throughline in local work is material honesty: real hardwood, visible grain, and joinery meant to outlive trends. These are pieces you repair and refinish, not replace — the opposite of flat-pack furniture.
Locally made goes well beyond accent pieces at What's New: our Oregon-made sofas are built by Stanton right here in the state, our sustainable furniture collection gathers the lowest-footprint picks across the store, and local artwork and prints hang throughout the showroom.
We've been a locally owned Portland business since 2010, and stocking local makers is part of the point. Visit the 25,000 sq ft showroom at 439 SE Grand Ave to see the wood and finish quality up close — photos never do figured grain justice.
We regularly take local work on consignment — you earn 50% when it sells, and your pieces get seen by thousands of Portland shoppers a month instead of sitting in a booth. Start on our consignment page.
Hardwood cutting boards, small-batch wood accents, and original local art make gifts with a story attached — made by a person you could plausibly run into at the farmers market. Most local accent pieces run well under $200, and unlike airport souvenirs, people keep them for decades. Pair a board with a print from local artwork & prints and the gift is done.
Pieces made by independent makers and small workshops in the Pacific Northwest — plus Oregon-built upholstery from Stanton in its own dedicated collection. We don't label imported goods as local.
Sometimes — several of our makers take commissions. Ask our staff and we'll connect you with the right person for the piece you have in mind.
Small-batch local work sells through quickly and isn't restocked on a schedule. If you see a piece you love, that's the day to buy it.

"We came in just to browse and walked out with a gorgeous sofa for half of what we'd seen online. The team helped us pick the perfect fabric and it was delivered within a week."

"The showroom is huge and everything is so well curated. Found a mid-century dining set that looks way more expensive than it was. Staff really knows their stuff."
