Most desks are a work surface; the Lifestyle double desk is a workplace — hand-built from FSC-certified reclaimed pine in the deep African Dusk finish, with the kind of old-English carpentry detail that makes a home office feel permanent. The discarded wood is collected, de-nailed, kiln-dried for 26 days, then finished with up to 18 hand-brushed steps, so every desk carries real history in its grain. It anchors our office furniture collection for good reason.

Styling Tips
Let the desk set a traditional tone and keep the rest of the room quiet — a leather or dark-fabric chair, brass or iron lighting, and a wall of matched bookcases behind it. The African Dusk finish reads nearly espresso, so lighter rugs and walls keep the room from going heavy. Keep cable clutter inside the hidden side cabinet and the desk stays as calm as it looks — the drawers and slides were designed to swallow the workday when it ends.
Care:
Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals on the hand-brushed finish and vinyl inlay top. Use a desk pad under daily writing and keep away from direct heat sources.
