Birdy Sofa

Some sofas fill a room. The Birdy furnishes it. Stylus builds this one a full 80 inches wide but only 37 inches deep, so it seats three without pushing the coffee table into the opposite wall. Square track arms, a single bench seat, and slim tapered legs that let the floor read underneath keep the frame visually light. It is one of the trimmer full-size sofas we carry, and the one we reach for when a room is long, narrow, or short on walking space.

Styling Tips

Birdy is the answer when a room needs a full-length sofa and cannot give up the floor for it: apartments, media rooms, and the long narrow front rooms in Portland's older housing stock. The shallow depth leaves a real walkway behind the coffee table, and the low square arm lets it sit under a window without blocking the sill. Pair it with a round coffee table, which softens all those straight lines. If the room needs to turn a corner instead, the same frame is built as a sectional, and the rest of the living room can build out from there.

Care

• Cleaning: Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth
• Protection: Keep sharp objects, harsh cleaners, and extended direct sunlight off the fabric
• Cushions: Rotate and fluff the loose cushions regularly so the fill stays even
• Fit check: Confirm doorways, stair turns, and the delivery path before ordering

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
