What neighbors say about finding the next one

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for this piece.

Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Sizes, materials and care

This cherry vintage vanity is the kind of piece you circle twice at a market stall: warm wood, a lift of glass, and the quiet glamour of getting ready at a real desk instead of a bathroom counter. The cherry finish reads rich and a little jewel-toned, the kind of color-forward consignment find What’s New Furniture is built around, with a modest mid-century-to-vintage silhouette that still feels personal rather than precious.

Built as a wood desk with an integrated mirror, it measures about 45 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 29.5 inches high, so it tucks into a bedroom alcove without swallowing the room. Condition is honestly fair: the top shows wear from years of jewelry trays, perfume bottles, and morning light: character, not camouflage. Drawers and lines stay useful; the story is in the surface.

Park it as a bedroom vanity, a compact writing desk, or a landing spot for keys and a lamp. Pair the cherry with cream bedding, a brass sconce, and a single bold chair so the wood stays the star. Shoppers hunting vintage desks Portland will recognize the treasure-hunt energy: not perfect, fully itself, ready for a second life.
