Rook Basket, Large

The large Rook basket is the one that actually swallows a living-room throw pile. Coiled banana leaf and raffia in mixed straw, tan, and cream, with a paler vertical panel running down the face and two loop handles at the rim. Styling

Park it on the floor at the end of a sofa in the living room and drop in folded throws, extra pillows, or a knit. The cream panel wants something pale nearby (unbleached linen, a light oak table) so the weave doesn't flatten into one brown mass. The dark-striped medium Rook and the smaller mixed-tone Rook sit well as a stepped trio along a wall, or keep this large one alone if the room only has space for one. It also works in a bedroom at the foot of the bed for extra blankets, or in an entry for scarves and hats once the weather turns. More in home accents.

Because the coils are a natural fiber, no two baskets read exactly the same. That variation is the point: it looks collected, not catalog-matched to the sofa. Pair it with warm wood, a vintage rug, and one confident accent (teal, terracotta, or sage) and the basket recedes into the room instead of shouting storage.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
