The medium Rook is the one with the dark raffia stripe bands: two columns of charcoal coils set into the natural banana-leaf weave, with loop handles at the rim. Styling

The dark bands are the reason this size reads from across a living room. Put it on the floor next to a leather chair or at the end of a sofa and drop in a folded throw, a small stack of magazines, or kindling if it lives by the fireplace. The charcoal wants something equally grounded nearby (walnut, a dark rug, a brick wall) so the stripes feel considered instead of random. Group it with the large and small Rook baskets for a stepped run, or keep it alone. More in home accents.

Natural fiber means the exact width and darkness of each stripe will shift a little from basket to basket. That is the handmade tell, not a defect. Pair it with warm wood and one accent (sage, terracotta, or rust) and it sits in the room like something you already owned.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
