Sloane Bed

A fully upholstered headboard and footboard give the Sloane a soft, finished look on every side, in either a rich chocolate-brown velvet or a neutral, boucle-like performance fabric. There is no channeling or tufting competing for attention: the shape does the work, and the fabric adds the texture. As beds go, this is the one that reads complete without a lot of extra styling around it.

It comes in queen and king, both at a substantial 50 inches tall, so the headboard reads as real furniture rather than a low panel. The upholstered footboard is a detail a lot of platform beds skip, and it makes the frame feel finished from the foot of the bed, not just the head.

Styling Tips

Velvet in a color this dark works as an anchor, so keep the walls and bedding lighter and let the headboard be the one dark, saturated surface in the room. The performance boucle does the opposite job, reading soft and neutral enough to sit behind almost any bedding.

Flank it with a pair of nightstands in a warm wood to offset all that upholstery, and keep floor lamps or sconces rather than table lamps if the nightstands are on the narrow side.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
