A single slab of smokey walnut splits across the headboard on a jagged live edge, pinned back together with three blackened bow-tie inlays — the Winslow reads like a piece of joinery, not a bedroom set. It sits low on a floating platform base with two drawers built into the side rail, so the storage disappears into the silhouette instead of hanging off it. Built for the Portland bedroom that has good bones and not enough closet. See how it compares in our full beds and headboards collection.

Styling Tips
Walnut this warm wants cool company. White or oatmeal linen bedding lets the grain do the talking, and one saturated accent — olive, rust, deep teal — keeps the room from reading brown-on-brown. Because the headboard is tall and the deck is low, the Winslow suits a room with some ceiling height, or a bungalow bedroom where a low bed makes the walls feel taller.
The matching Winslow 2-drawer nightstand carries the same live-edge cut across its drawer fronts, and the 6-drawer dresser, 4-drawer chest and standing floor mirror finish the set. If you would rather mix, a painted or metal nightstand and a lighter dresser break up the wood, and a low-pile rug running past the foot of the bed gives the platform something to sit on. Browse the rest of our bedroom furniture to build the room out.
Materials:
Mahogany, laminated veneer lumber, MDF and particle board; walnut, albasia and trembesi veneers

Smokey walnut with coffee bean accents
Mattress support:
Slat system with center rail and three support legs — no foundation required
Delivery & assembly:
Ships freight in three cartons. Full assembly required.
Care:
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Skip ammonia, silicone and abrasive cleaners. Keep the bed out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents to limit fading and seasonal movement in the veneer. Lift, never drag, when moving the frame.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
