What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Shady.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Styling Tips

Settle the Shady Lady in a tasteful basket or terra-cotta planter (NOT the plastic nursery pot it ships in) in a bright Portland sunroom or living room corner. Pair with a leather accent chair and a brass floor lamp beside for a complete reading-corner moment. The shapeable branches let you fit it under sloped ceilings or against angled walls.

Care

Dust gently with a soft brush or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight to preserve color. Reshape branches occasionally to maintain a natural silhouette. No water needed.
